The First Local Technology Company Named as

“Best of COMDEX” Finalist

 

Hong Kong, Nov. 28, 2003 - Titanium Technology Limited (Titanium) was named as finalist in the Security Infrastructure category for the Best of COMDEX 2003 award, which was presented in one of the biggest information technology exhibition halls in the world -- COMDEX.

 

Titanium was selected as one of the three finalists in the Security Infrastructure Category based on its self-developed Face Recognition product FaceOK, among many leading technology companies in the world, such as Microsoft, HP and NEC.

FaceOK is a software system employing biometrics authentication technology that identifies users’ face and enables users to protect their PCs as well as the data at the highest level of security. It takes only one tenth of a second to detect a person's face and one second to provide recognition of a person's identity on an ordinary Personal Computer, providing a user friendly and efficient security solution.

 

COMDEX is a large scale information technology exhibition in the world held in Las Vegas once a year, attracting thousands of Hi-tech companies throughout the world to show their new technology. This exhibition has a long history of over twenty years.
